Good UX design dictates that color alone should never be the sole indicator of a status change.
There are a surprising number of people with complete or partial color-blindness who cannot distinguish changes based on color alone.
There should be either more dedicated LEDs or multiple blink rates so that each state can be distinguished without reference to color.
Mike, this is a very good point, and frankly, something we overlooked. When we have some breathing room early next year, we intend to improve the functionality of that light to something better. Your input is something we will consider. Thank you very much.
