I have installed the app, says its connected to my internet yet when it says it needs to update software, i get error message saying cant connect ... have gone into app updates but its not showing as needing to update,blue light just blinks at me
In order for the very first firmware update to proceed properly, Monument needs to be connected to a monitor or a TV using its HDMI connector in the back.

This is so frustrating... connected my iphone 6. Hdmi cable to TV. White light on monument updates done. Hardrive connected. Settings says i am connected to monument. Go back. Nothing happens. Get blue screen to connect to wifi. Error message says cant connect. Settings say connected. Blue screen stays on cant get out if it. Maybe another gadget i am unable to get working
